Porsche presented its renewed supercar 911 GT3 RS, which is also the most powerful model of the brand with an atmospheric engine.
After the facelift, the car is not only more powerful but faster, and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. This is 0.1 seconds better than the predecessor. The maximum speed of the supercar is 312 km/h.
Carbon and other composite materials are used in the 911 GT3 RS construction. Carbon is the doors, the lid in which special air intakes for cooling the brakes, as well as the seats. The roof is made of special magnet alloy. For further weight reduction we offer an optional Weissach package (-29 kg). It includes carbon components on the chassis, bodywork and saloon as well as magnet alloy wheels. With the Weissach package, the updated 911 GT3 RS weighs 1430 kg.
The supercar is equipped with a 4.0-liter “boxer” developing 520 hp. So the car is 20 hp. more powerful than ever before, this being achieved by reworking the main engine system and reprogramming its electronic control. The unit runs at 9000 rpm, working in conjunction with a robotic 7-speed PDK box with new settings.
The cabin has also got a modernized suspension and chassis with reversing rear wheels. An optional Clubsport package is available as an option. It includes safety carcass, 6-point seat belts, special fire extinguisher, and more.
