Italian company Lamborghini officially presented the hardcore version Aventador SVJ, which managed to set a record for the fastest lap of Nurburgring. The supercar passed the North Arc for 6 minutes and 44.95 seconds, improving the Porsche 911 GT2 RS’s achievement by 2 sec.

Lamborghini Aventador SVJ relies on the 6.5-liter V12, which delivers 770 hp of power and 720 Nm of torque. This allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and reaching 300 kph takes 8.6 seconds.

The supercar has an active aerodynamics system that can change the level of drag and compressive force and also load differently the left and right sides of the curb in the curves. At maximum speed the compressive force reaches 490 kg.

Compared to the standard Aventador S, the SVJ has received a different front bumper with other air intakes, a new carbon footguard, and a number of minor body enhancements.

The production of the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will be limited to a series of 900 units. The price of the supercar started from 517,000 USD.
