Volkswagen T-Cross

In 2018, the Volkswagen crossover range will be completed with the latest T-Cross, which will be positioned under the T-Roc this year.

The MQB platform, which has already been successfully applied to the new generation of the hit Polo and the SEAT Arona crossover, has been used to create the new sub-compact model. According to Auto Express, the wheelbase of the T-Cross will be 2560 mm.

It is supposed that the main engines for the T-Cross will be 1.0-liter 3-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, and customers will be able to choose between a mechanical transmission and a two-clutch transmission. The market on which T-Cross will stand is extremely competitive, with successful models such as Nissan Juke and Peugeot 2008 present there.

At the moment, VW’s smallest crossover size is T-Roc, which premiered at the Frankfurt showroom and is also built on the modular MQB platform.
