The Italian company Maserati has shown a special version of the Levante crossover called Vulcano. A total of 150 such cars will be assembled for the markets of Europe and Asia. All Maserati Levante Vulcano units are painted in Grigio Lava matt grey and come with the Nerissimo exterior design package.

The Vulcano features an eclipsed backlight block, radiator grille and black chrome logos, glossy side windows, black exhaust pipes, 21-inch Helios wheels with matt finish and red brake callipers. The crossover is only available with a 3-litre, turbocharged V6 engine with two power outputs, 350 and 430 hp, coupled with 8-speed automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive.

Maserati Levante Vulcano equipment list includes Brembo 6-piston braking systems, black or red leather seats with ventilation and heating, Bowers & Wilkins audio system and matrix LED headlamps. On the centre console of the crossover is placed aluminium plate with the logo Vulcano and text “one of 150”, and the interior is decorated with lacquered carbon inserts.

At the beginning of December 2017, Maserati introduced a special series of Levante and the Quattroporte sedan in Nerissimo performance, whose name translates as “very black”. A key feature of the car is the black body colour with black decorative elements and black interior lining.
