The premiere of the new generation of the BMW Z4 roadster (index G29) is scheduled for August 23 during the design contest in Peble Beach. Pictures of the M40i, however, came out at Instagram.
The photos are not particularly high, but the Roadster is shot by all countries. It is clear from the pictures that the serial model will largely repeat the prototype prototype presented years ago. There is definitely similarity with the Italian Roadster Fiat 124 Spider, but probably the official Bavarian will probably look more solid.
There are no official technical details for the latch, but it is expected to be fitted with a 360-hp 6-cylinder turbocharger under the bonnet of the BMW Z4 M40i. and 500 Nm. In this variation, the roadster will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds and the maximum speed will be limited to 250 km/h. Model adapters include adaptive dampers, electronically-controlled differential lock and high brakes.
The weaker version, sDrive30i, will receive a 4-cylinder gasoline turbocharger with a capacity of 2.0 liters. Its power will be around 280 hp. It is this option that will come out first on the market, with prices starting at about $ 50,000. The 6-cylinder version will start at $ 70,000. Both engines are coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
