BMW has presented a whole range of accessories from the Performance Parts catalog for the new X5. These include exterior and interior elements made of carbon, wheels of different sizes, as all-terrain tires that are available for the first time. All of this will be available for the March 2019 SUV. The M Performance Components for the BMW X5 exterior include reinforced carbon fiber frames on the front air intakes, front and rear wings, diffusers and side mirror housings. The catalog also includes black matte details placed at the bottom of the doors.
For the first time, the model features 20-inch Star Spoke 748 M wheels that are “tire-fitted” in tire treads. The 22-inch alloy wheels from the M Performance are one kilogram lighter than the standard, and can be fitted with enhanced brake discs with aluminum brakes.
In the equipment of the saloon is included M Performance steering wheel with alcantara, carbon elements, including gear shift levers placed on the handlebars. There are more insoles with the M Performance logo as well as stainless steel pedals. An additional Drive Analyzer is also available, which allows the use of a smartphone to analyze the travel data by allowing GPS coordinates and recorded video.
The new BMW X5 comes with 3.0 and 4.4-liter gasoline engines developing 340 and 462 hp as well as 249 and 400 hp diesel engines.
