The German tuning company Gruma, which specializes in the creation of hunting cars, presented its new project. In its base is a pickup built on the basis of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class.
The car is dyed in matte green and has black decorative elements that are deliberately not as bright as they can scare the animals. A special dog transport box is placed in the cargo compartment. There is also a special weapon holder as well as an Aqua2Go salon cleaner.
In addition, the truck has been fitted with extra equipment to overcome heavy terrain, including BF Goodrich tires, a LED module, and powerful winches at the front and rear. The machine’s suspension has also been re-engineered by increasing ground clearance.
The hunting version of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class will be available with all versions of the engine and gearbox. The pickup is on the market from the summer of 2018, with a 2.4-liter diesel with 163 or 190 hp, and a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged diesel engine developing 258 hp. and 550 Nm.
The gearboxes are a 6-speed manual for the two lower versions and a 7-speed automatic for the three modifications.
