Mercedes-Maybach revealed details of its luxury Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury crossover, which will be shown during the Beijing International Motor Show this week. The car is equipped with four compact motors with permanent magnets allowing the two axle drive system to better distribute the maximum torque between each wheel at any time.
In general, the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept is a combination of sedan and SUV. The length of the prototype is 5260 mm, the width is 2110 mm and the height is 1764 mm. The design of the car has been created three-dimensionally in a virtual environment.
The total power output of the power unit is 750 hp and the 80 kW/h battery pack is located under the floor. The one-mile charge is 500 km, and from a special 350 kilowatts station, the batteries can be filled in for 5 minutes, providing a further 100 km.
For the Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury Salon, expensive wood, white leather and pink beads are used. The central panel features a virtual wide-format cockpit with two 12.3-inch displays. The built-in voice control system adapts to the driver’s voice and can be self-taught.
In the rear of the car are Mercedes-Benz S-Class seats with self-adjusting and special footrest. Passengers on the second row are separated from the central tunnel, where a special kettle is integrated.
Several relaxation programs are provided for passengers. Depending on the selected theme, the lighting, the mood and the smell of the salon may change. There is also a massage program. All systems can be synced with a smartphone application and independently select the routing path.
