Skoda Superb 2019

Skoda Superb 2019

This year we will see a facelift not only of the VW Passat but also of the more spacious brother, the Skoda Superb.

We’ve already seen Superb’s prototype last summer, and now it’s time for even more revealing pictures. The model has a very light camouflage in front, which conceals the ultimate shape of the headlamps, the grille, and the bumper. However, it is quite clear that the changes will not be significant. Headlights are likely to be updated with new LED lamps and the grille will be inspired by the latest brand concepts. In these photos, the bumper looks a bit more aggressive and this is obvious from the inclined fog lights.

The rear lights were also upgraded to a hidden strip. This could be either a chrome detail or an LED strip that will fit into the latest trend in the automotive industry. New paint and alloy wheels should also be included with the facelift.

As for the interior, some slight improvements are expected, including a more refined center console and larger infotainment displays along with the same huge passenger and rack space that still remains enormous in the wagon.

It is rumored that Skoda Superb 2019 will get a hybrid version of the drive, just like the twin VW Passat. The mechanism should be taken from the Passat GTE, which combines a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and an electric motor with a total power of 215 hp and an all-electric mileage of 50 km.

Updated gasoline and diesel turbo engines, including the new 1.5 TSI with cylinder deactivation technology, will also be available with the hybrid.
