The Volkswagen Touareg has been a regular work of the tuning studio ABT Sportsline since it first appeared about 16 years ago, so the new generation could not miss the tuner improvements.
Designed to “ensure optimum power delivery”, the ABT Sportsline chip is attached to this 3.0-liter TDI engine. As a result, the power has increased from 286 hp and 600 Nm torque to 330 hp and 650 Nm torque.
After that, the tuner focused its efforts on the rims. So the Volkswagen Touareg has 22-inch wheels from the GR series. Additionally, ABT Sportsline can equip it with other 20 to 22-inch wheels called DR, ER-C and FR-C.
Changes in the interior are not many. However, the opening of the front doors reveals new lights when entering. They replace the traditional and design the ABT logo on the asphalt.
These are all changes for the moment that can be ordered for the latest Volkswagen Touareg. However, as this is still a brand new SUV, the German tuner is likely to release more extras for it at the right time.
