Volkswagen has released a video that gives an idea of the new compact crossover of the T-Cross brand. The premiere of the car will take place on a special event in Amsterdam on 25 October.
At the core of the Volkswagen T-Cross is the variable-size platform MQB A0 on which the 6th generation of the hatchback Polo is built. The rack holds 455 liters, which is the maximum segment in the segment. With the rear seats down, the volume jumps to 1281 liters.
The small crossover will be available with LED optics, a fully digital instrument panel, as well as a cordless charger for mobile phones and tablets.
The range of engines includes 3-cylinder turbo engines with a capacity of 1.0 liter, developing 95 and 110 hp. The gearbox is a 6-speed manual or robotized with two clutches. The car will also receive a 1.5-liter turbocharger with 150 hp as well as two 1.6-liter diesel engines developing 95 and 115 hp.
