Toyota has prepared a special version of its Land Cruiser, named Heritage Edition, dedicated to the uninterrupted evolution of the model in its 60-year history. The car will come out in a limited series of 1,200 units and will be available in the market at the end of 2019.
Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition will be available with only two rows of seats, Midnight Black Metallic body colour or Blizzard Pearl, grille with tinted accents and 18-inch alloy wheels. The fact that the machine is a special series will suggest the Land Cruiser logo and additional chrome elements.
Under the cover of the SUV is a 5.7-litre V8, developing a power of 386 hp and 544 Nm of torque. The gearbox is an 8-speed ECT-i. The SUV is equipped with a four-wheel drive system with a Torsen centre differential, a two-stage cut-out box and lowering gears on the transmission. In addition, there is a KSD (Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System) hydraulic system. The front suspension, the radiator and the box are protected by metal plates.
Toyota Land Cruiser Heritage Edition includes Crash Climbing Controls, CRAWL Control, Multi-Terrain Select and Off-Road Turn Assist, which improves manoeuvrability.
In addition, the SUV features ventilated seats, a four-zone air conditioner with 28 deflectors, a 9-inch multimedia system, adaptive cruise control, and a cordless charger for smartphones.
