Nissan, together with designers Italdesign, presented the first sketch of the next-generation Nissan GT-R. The term of the supercar is not mentioned, but the Japanese claim that this will be the fastest car in the world.
Judging by the photos, the design of the new generation of the Nissan GT-R will be even more aggressive and more dynamic. Proof of this is the headlights combined with the radiator grille as well as the massive air gauge.
So far, the technical characteristics of the cult Japanese sports coupe are not clear. According to the Nissan marketing director, Jean-Pierre Diernaz, the future GT-R and the 370Z will in any case be electrified. Most likely, the GT-R will be hybrid drive, while the smaller 370Z will become an electric car.
In turn, the chief designer of the Japanese brand, Alfonso Albaisa, recognizes that his team is still in the beginning of his car design, as engineers have to finish the platform and the car’s specifications before. However, Nissan is already ready with a prototype model.
