If you are interested in participating in GT3 racing and you are a fan of the Japanese automotive industry, you can become the owner of the new Acura NSX GT3. For that, you only need to find 465,000 EUR, Honda Performance Development announced, which is already accepting the order for the machine.
The car has been developed to compete in a variety of competitions around the world, including the Pirelli World Challenge, the Blancpain GT Series Europe & Asia, and the Australian GT Championship. Unlike the civilian option, the racer is not equipped with a hybrid power unit and relies entirely on a 3.5-liter V6 bi-turbo petrol engine whose power, at least unidentified, is 600 hp.
The Japanese automotive giant adds that it will produce 12 such machines. All customers will receive maintenance, training pilots as well as supply of spare parts and other components. It should also be noted that the car is different from the standard ASX and because of the lack of a four-wheel drive system. The racetrack is entirely rear-wheel drive.
The machine has received optimized aerodynamics, a full carbon bodywork and all the necessary safety systems. Transmission is sequential with 9 gears.
Sales of the racing car in Europe, Asia and the Middle East will be revived by JAS Motorsport. In Japan, this will be done by Mugen.
