McLaren 720S is part of the company’s Super Series, which is one of the most dynamic and beautiful supercars. According to the carmaker, the designers took inspiration from the Great White Shark, a beautifully sleek yet brutally efficient hunting machine. The name of the engine is the M840T, which literally means the McLaren V8 4-liter turbocharged engine. The supercar manufacturer claims that 70% of the components used to build it are different from those in the previous version of the 3.8-liter engine.
McLaren 720S has two turbines. As the name suggests, it’s about 720 hp. McLaren claims that the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 2.9 sec. The maximum speed is 341 km/h.
Like the 650S, McLaren 720S uses connected hydraulic systems to provide cornering stability, smooth braking, and smooth running even on uneven terrain. McLaren has also created Variable Drift Control, which allows the driver to choose the angle below which the car must be drifting to intercept the system and save it.
Moreover, there is a hidden option in the car’s system. When you enter inside and press the engine start button, but without holding the brake to prevent the V8 itself, but only the systems, you can switch to Track Mode. And now that you start the engine with the brake applied, the car sends a certain amount of fuel to the exhaust and ignites it.
