Porsche introduced the Cayman e-volution concept electric car. The machine was shown at a technical conference in Stuttgart on electric vehicle propulsion.
Technical details of the machine were not revealed. It is only true that the Cayman e-volution will be able to travel up to 200 km on a single charge. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in the electric compartment takes only 3.3 seconds.
In Porsche they do not intend to run the model in production for the moment. Its purpose is to prove that the company is working hard on creating electric cars, the first of which will be ready in 2019.
At the same time with the Cayman e-volution, the German manufacturer also showed the Porsche Turbo Charging fast charging station. It has a power of 800 volts and was created with the help of the subsidiary Porsche Engineering and ADS-TEC.
The HPC is designed for areas where the load on the mains is less. Since it is quite powerful, there is no way to go without a buffer, using PowerBooster technology. The device will be able to fill up to 80% of the batteries for 15 minutes, with the charging power reaching 320 kW.
