Porsche has expanded the Cayenne family with fully electric versions. The new range is available in two body styles — the standard SUV and the sportier Coupé — with three power levels: Cayenne Electric, Cayenne S Electric and Cayenne Turbo Electric. The flagship model develops up to 1,156 hp with Launch Control and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds.
All versions use an 800-volt electrical architecture, a battery of around 113 kWh, all-wheel drive and high-power DC charging.

Six Electric Cayenne Versions
The model range follows Porsche’s familiar hierarchy, combining three powertrains with two body styles.
| Model | Overboost Power | 0–100 km/h | Top Speed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cayenne Electric | 442 hp | 4.8 sec | 230 km/h |
| Cayenne S Electric | 666 hp | 3.8 sec | 250 km/h |
| Cayenne Turbo Electric | 1,156 hp | 2.5 sec | 260 km/h |
| Cayenne Coupé Electric | 442 hp | 4.8 sec | 230 km/h |
| Cayenne S Coupé Electric | 666 hp | 3.8 sec | 250 km/h |
| Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric | 1,156 hp | 2.5 sec | 260 km/h |
Cayenne Electric
The entry-level Cayenne Electric develops up to 442 hp with Launch Control. It reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km/h. Despite being the base model, it retains all-wheel drive, adaptive suspension and the high-voltage architecture used across the range.
Cayenne S Electric
The Cayenne S Electric raises output to 666 hp in Launch Control mode. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 3.8 seconds, while top speed is 250 km/h. The S combines considerably stronger performance with a range that remains competitive with the standard model.
Cayenne Turbo Electric
The flagship Cayenne Turbo Electric is the most powerful version in the range. Its system can deliver up to 850 kW, or 1,156 hp, in Launch Control mode, with maximum torque reaching around 1,500 Nm.
- 0–100 km/h: 2.5 seconds
- 0–200 km/h: 7.4 seconds
- Top speed: 260 km/h
- Maximum Launch Control output: 1,156 hp
Cayenne Coupé Electric
The Coupé versions use the same basic powertrains but feature a lower, more aerodynamic body. The roof is approximately 24 mm lower than on the conventional SUV, while the drag coefficient can be reduced to around 0.23.
| Model | 0–100 km/h | Maximum Range |
|---|---|---|
| Cayenne Coupé Electric | 4.8 sec | 661 km WLTP |
| Cayenne S Coupé Electric | 3.8 sec | 669 km WLTP |
| Cayenne Turbo Coupé Electric | 2.5 sec | 637 km WLTP |
The Cayenne S Coupé Electric has the highest official WLTP range in the six-model lineup, reaching up to 669 km.
Battery and Charging
All electric Cayenne versions use a battery with a gross capacity of approximately 113 kWh. The 800-volt electrical system allows the SUV to make use of very high-power charging stations.
| Parameter | Specification |
|---|---|
| Battery capacity | Approx. 113 kWh |
| Electrical architecture | 800 V |
| Maximum DC charging power | Up to approx. 390 kW |
| 10–80% charging | Approx. 16 minutes |
| AC charging | Up to 22 kW with optional equipment |
The actual charging time depends on battery temperature, state of charge and the capabilities of the charging station.
Dimensions and Practicality
The standard Cayenne Electric measures approximately 4,985 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width and 1,674 mm in height. The wheelbase is 3,023 mm, providing additional room for passengers.

The electric Cayenne also remains a practical SUV. Depending on specification, Porsche offers adaptive air suspension, rear-axle steering and equipment for towing trailers weighing up to 3.5 tonnes.
