Porsche introduced the new version of the 911 model. The cabriolet will be available in two versions – the Carrera S and the Carrera 4S, which are equipped with a soft roof with a special design to prevent them from swelling at high speed. The mechanism of the structure is hydraulic, allowing it to open for only 12 seconds.

The Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet is rear-wheel drive, while Carrera 4S has a four-wheel drive. Their engine is the same – a 3.0-litre turbocharger, developing 450 hp. The speed drive is the new 8-speed PDK with two clutches.

The Carrera S accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds (with the additional Sport Chrono time being 3.7 seconds). For Carrera 4S, this indicator is 3.8 seconds. The top-of-the-line engine displacement is 306 hp, while the all-wheel-drive is 304 hp.

For the first time, the Porsche 911 has a Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) adaptive suspension with shorter and firmer springs, reinforced stabilizers and a 10 mm ground clearance. In addition, the Porsche 911 Cabriolet has a Wet Mode electronic control mode, which opens air valves to create additional compressive force.

The system senses the floor on which the vehicle is moving and advises the driver to change the mode of movement.

The Porsche 911 Cabriolet’s additional equipment includes a parking assistant, night vision system with a heater, road trip assistant and a Porsche Impact emission calculator. With its help, CO2 emissions can be calculated on travel and saved money saved to an environmental organization.
