Opel launches a sports version of its Corsa hatchback in Europe. She has received an additive S to her name, and is equipped with a 150 hp engine.
The German manufacturer claims that the Opel Corsa S is an alternative to those customers with the OPC version of 207 hp. seems to be too powerful, but their standard model is too weak.
Under the cover of the compact hatchback is a 1.4-liter gasoline turbo engine developing 150 hp. The torque is transmitted to the front wheels with a 6-speed manual transmission, with the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h taking 8.9 seconds. The top speed of the Corsa S is 207 km/h.
From the standard model, the sporty version is distinguished by aggressive aerodynamics and its 17-inch wheels. The hatch has been painted in black hulls on exterior mirrors as well as a sports exhaust system.
The interior of the car includes sports steering wheel and recaro seats, aluminum pedals and red accents. There is also an IntelliLink Radio R 4.0 entertainment system supporting Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The prices of this version in Europe start at 18,400 euros. For comparison, Opel Corsa OPC costs a minimum of 25,000 EUR.
