The new generation of the Opel Astra demonstrates distinctly dynamic shapes, and now sports enthusiasts can equip the hatchback with an even more confident look. This is possible with the OPC Line package, which the German brand already introduces to the market. The package is entirely visual and does not affect the dynamic characteristics of the car or its behavior on the road. The OPC Line features a number of exterior enhancements that add to the 5-door hatchback.
For example, the front bumper is equipped with larger air holes that take the place of fog lights and are highlighted with horizontally positioned chrome lamellas. Side sills are also fitted, and a rear bumper is fitted with a completely different armor fitted with vertical integrated lights.
No changes to the interior are mentioned in the Opel message. It is specified, however, that the OPC Line can be ordered with all engines available for hatchbacks and is available for performance levels Active, Dynamic and INNOVATION. The package comes in six metallic tones (Silver Sovereign Silver, Black Mineral Black, Blue Deep Sky Blue, Brown Dark Caramel, Gray Cosmic Gray and Green Emerald Green), as well as two types of varnish coatings with a brilliant effect (White Summit White and Red Absolute Red).
The price of the option already offered in Germany is 1150 EUR.
Those looking for something more than a sporty design will have to wait a little longer. Opel is already developing the top sports version Astra OPC, which is claimed to receive over 300 hp. There will also be a more moderate GSi 250 hp.
