The American tuning studio Hennessey has begun to modernize cars in 1991. So far, the Texas firm has “supplied” its customers to 6,500,000 horses if we assume that the average power of each engine is over 650 cents. This means the company places the limited series Heritage Edition Mustang in honor of tunnels around 10,000 cars.
For the “donor” the Mustang GT version is used with a five-liter V8 engine, pumped up to 808 horses and 918 Nm of torque. In this configuration, the greyhound recovers from a place of up to 96 km/h in 3.3 seconds and traverses a quarter mile in 10.7 seconds, accelerating to 212 km/h. The maximum speed of the sports car exceeds 322 km/h.
The exterior of this Mustang is based on the Ford GT Heritage Edition. The tuned car will not be sold only in the US, the atelier accepts orders from around the world. The car receives a whole range of technical improvements, including a more powerful compressor, a new intercoler, a reduced sports suspension and 20-inch wheels with the Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires.
Hennessey’s tuning includes a variety of body carbon features, a stainless steel exhaust system and Brembo brakes as an option. From the limited edition, 19 units will be produced and each car will be tested 200 miles (322 km) to see if everything is working properly. Cars will be offered with a 3-year warranty or 36,000 miles (up to 58,000 km), which event first occurred. The starting price of Heritage Edition Mustang in the US is $ 89,950.
