MINI brought a special modification of the hatchback Cooper S, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the original Morris Mini Minor. The new car will be released in a limited series of 500 units.
The hatchback is painted in a special green color – British Racing Green, with the ceiling and mirror housings in black. The machine is also equipped with two-color 17-inch alloy wheels. The inscription “60 years” (60 years) can be seen next to the turn signals and the thresholds. This logo is also projected on the asphalt using a special lighting system.
In the saloon, the car is set on brown leather with green lines. The special modification logo is placed on the steering wheel and on the front seats.
Technically, the hatchback has not changed. It relies on a 2.0-liter gasoline turbo engine with 197 hp and a 7-speed robotic gearbox with two clutches. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes 6.7 seconds.
The machine will also be available with less equipment and is intended solely for the UK market. There the car prices start at 29,900 GBP.
