Mazda launches sales of the renewed CX-5 crossover, which will now be available as a 2.5-liter gasoline turbocharger. The model has received an improved G-Vectoring Control system and a special level of Exclusive Mode equipment.
The renewed CX-5 is the first Mazda model to be available in Japan with a turbocharger. This SKYACTIV-G family is now available on the CX-9 and Mazda6. The power of the 4-cylinder engine is 230 hp. and 420 Nm, combining it with a 6-speed automatic transmission only.
In addition to a turbocharger, the car has received an upgraded version of the GVC Plus electronic system that changes engine thrust depending on the steering angle and speed. In its new version, the system starts to work even when the maneuver starts, and also after the steering wheel returns to zero.
The Mazda CX-5 has also received a new media complex with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as an Advanced SCBS Safe City System that recognizes pedestrians at night. In addition, the design of air conditioner and instrument panel switches has been changed.
The new level of Exclusive Mode equipment has received decorative elements of natural wood, armchairs with leather nappa and ventilation, frameless mirror, saloon LED lights and 19-inch wheels.
