Kia has released official photos and information on the new generation of its Rio sedan, which is on the market in China under the name K2. The car is expected to keep the same look for Russia, where it will also be produced.
The dimensions of the Kia K2 are 4400 mm long, 1728 mm wide, 1460 mm high and 2600 mm wide. In this way, the Chinese sedan is 23 mm longer and 28 mm wider than its predecessor. The wheelbase has grown 30 mm.
The model will be available with two petrol engines – a volume of 1.4 and 1.6 liters, developing 100 and 123 hp respectively. For them, in addition to a 6-speed manual gearbox, an automatic transmission with the same number of gears is also provided.
In September this year, Kia showed the European version of the hatchback Rio, which grew in size and received a 3-cylinder engine with a volume of 1.0 liter. It comes with 100 and 120 hp. More 1,25 and 1,4-liter naturally aspirated bikes are available for the model.
