Kia has revealed details of the “sporty” version of its Rio hatch, designed for the European market. The car will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
From the standard model, the Rio GT-Line features 17-inch wheels, glossy black radiator grille, LED fog lamps, spoilers and dual exhaust pipes.
The sports version is also equipped with adaptive headlamps, a touchscreen multimedia display system that works with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear camera, heated seats and steering wheel, as well as a pedestrian detection collision avoidance system.
The Kia Rio GT-Line comes with a 1.0-liter turbocharger with 120 hp. and 173 Nm of torque that works with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Lateral engines will be available with a capacity of 1.25 and 1.4 liters, as well as a 7-speed robotic transmission with two clutches.
