Kia presented the facelift of its Sportage crossover. Europe’s car sales start in July, with prices to be announced.
The SUV has a redesigned design, and the Optics is already in the style of the new generation Cerato sedan introduced at the beginning of the year. New headlights with four LEDs, as well as the radiator grille. The air intakes of the vehicle are also changed.
The crossover has taught new bumpers and an exhaust system. It is also fitted with a modernized bottom protection and the customer will be able to choose between 16, 17 and 19-inch wheels.
The upgraded Sportage will be available in a hybrid hybrid system under the “mild hybrid” scheme. This version is equipped with a drive unit EcoDynamics + 2.0 R, which includes 2.0-liter diesel with a starter-generator and a 48-volt battery. The power of the system is not reported.
The 1.7-liter CRDi, the 1.6-liter U3 CRDI, drops out of the model range. The engine will be available in two power variants – 115 and 136 hp.
