BMW 8-Series tuning by AC Schnitzer

BMW 8-Series tuning

The German tuning studio AC Schnitzer presented at the Essen exhibition its program for the upgrading of the brand-new BMW 8-Series. The model offers a very aggressive aerodynamic package, additional interior elements and a possibility to increase engine power.

The company can equip the body with special, shorter springs, thanks to which the center of gravity will be reduced to 25 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear. Accordingly, the front axle will be fitted with 20-inch wheels, and the rear – 21-inch wheels.

The extra aerodynamic package is made of carbon fiber, including a front spoiler, splitter, special air ducts and ventilation grilles on the front cover. In the rear will be an anti-wing from a racing car with integrated stops.

In the interior of the car are placed aluminum shift levers and pedals of the same metal. The four exhaust pipes of the 105 mm diameter exhaust system are made of carbon, which improves their sound.

The BMW 8-Series offers a power boost package. With it, the 4.4-liter turbo V8 of the 850i xDrive develops 600 hp instead of the previous 530 hp. The 3.0-liter diesel engine, which so far had 320 hp and 680 Nm of torque, now has 380 hp and 780 Nm.
