Alfa Romeo will make a new generation of the 8C sporting model and will receive a hybrid system based on the 2.9-liter V6 engine of the Giulia Quadrifoglio.
The current power of the engine, which was created by Ferrari is 500 hp, but after some upgrades it reaches 600 hp. According to Car Magazine, the future 8C will have a total of 800 hp, with an electric motor on the front axle. The car is expected to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 3 seconds.
The monocoque of the sports car will be made of carbon, and four-wheel drive systems and vector torque distribution will be available in the equipment of the car. All of this would allow the new generation 8C to compete even with Ferrari’s top models.
The Alfa Romeo supercar will be released in a limited edition of 1,000 units, with a starting price of 250,000 pounds. Its appearance on the market is scheduled for 2021.
